One day, while selling at the flea market, I was about to leave when I decided to walk around and see what I could find. I found a guy selling some tools, and he had this beautiful trunk. The more I looked at it, I realized it was a old flat top steamer trunk, from the 30's or 40's. It has an excelsior lock WITH the key. The handles are missing, but the trunk is just amazing. I paid 5 bucks for it, and its worth 70 - 80 bucks. Great buy I think.

American Motorcycle Association Pin
AMA. Could stand for many things right? This time, it means American Motorcycle Association. The American Motorcycle Association is an American nonprofit organization of more than 300,000 motorcyclists that organizes numerous motorcycling activities and campaigns for motorcyclists' legal rights. Its mission statement is "to protect and promote the interests of motorcyclists while serving the needs of its members." The organization was founded in 1924 and now has more than 1,200 chartered clubs. (Thank you wikipedia!) I found this pin at the flea market. I dont know the year, or a value, but it is really cool. Any motorcycle enthusiast would love to have it!
Army Info Folder - Fort Jackson, SC
While going through a bunch of boxes at a yard sale, I came across a folder with a bunch of army information on it. It had a bunch of little booklets in it describing different things. I asked a price, and she threw out 25 cents. Couldn't pass it up. I bought it, and when I got it home, I realized that the information if from the early 70's. I've tried to find an item like this on ebay, but cant find anything, so I dont know a value. Everything is in great condition, colors are nice, no water damage. I think its great. What do you think?
Howdy Ya'll!
Hey everybody. My name is Michael Hegdahl. I'm 19 years old, born and raised in Travelers Rest, SC. Growing up, my mom and grandma loved to collect antiques. I've been around them my entire life. I've always loved old items, and I've collected stuff ever since. I love to buy and sell, but sometimes, I fall in love with something I've bought, and well, it ends up in my room. I buy a wide variety of things. Most of the items I had, I had to sell for money for college, and now, since I've graduated, I want to collect and sell again! I get inspired to go out and find items because you never know what you're going to find. Not all items I buy are antique, I buy a lot of newer items that I can sell easily as well. I just buy things that interests me, which I think is what you're supposed to do if you're a picker. So if you have any questions or information on items, please email me directly at michaelhegdahlracing@gmail.com. If you're interested in buying something, email me as well, as I'm sure we can make a deal! Thanks, sweet pickin'!
